Competences of the notified body assessing the conformity of products with the fundamental requirements for safety and health protection

The functioning of the quality system of the Central Institute for Labour Protection - National Research Institute (CIOP-PIB) as the body assessing the conformity of products was estimated during reviews of management systems and internal and external audits conducted by the Polish Centre of Accreditation.
These assessments confirmed
- correctness of products conformity assessments;
- high competences of the personnel;
- meeting the requirements of the standard PN-EN 45011:2000 by the Institute (CIOP-PIB);
- compliance of the Institute`s quality system with the requirements of the reference documents due to accreditation and notification criteria;
- the certificate of accreditation No. AC018 for the Institute as the certified body was extended until 26.07.2017.
