Development of employer`s guidebook for the purposes of risk assessment associated with artificial optical radiation taking into account the requirements of 2006/25/WE directive.

Project summary:
The measurements of optical radiation and risk assessment in 31 selected workplaces, where optical radiation is present, were performed, as well as, spectroradiometric measurements of 63 optical radiation emitters were done in order to determine their risk group for photobiological safety reasons. A national version of the guidebook for employers was developed, taking into account 2006/25/WE directive requirements and Polish legal acts implementing this directive, as well as, a seminar was organized which verified the guidebook for oversight body (PIP, PIS) and OHS services.
