Development and maintenance of an IT environment supporting education in the scope of occupational safety and ergonomics at various levels of education

The task involved comprehensive development and maintenance of an IT environment aimed at supporting training and other education in OSH and ergonomics run as distance education with the use of the Internet; development and updating of software and multimedia teaching materials in this scope, which are used at various levels of education. The task also involved creating, developing and updating various types of electronic, multimedia teaching and education materials for audiences from various worker, school and student environments. IBM Lotus LearningSpace is one kind of software that is the basis of the system that supports distance education with the use of the Internet. It is installed on an education server in the appropriate software environment that makes it possible to cooperate with the Oracle database software. Throughout the duration of the task, administration and maintenance of the system, including software, was carried out which ensured that the system was always working properly.
