Strengthening of the content-related competence of the TEST-PRO-SAFETY-LIFE Centre of Excellence (Polish side's input into the European project)

"The activity of the TEST-PRO-SAFETY-LIFE Centre of Excellence continued within the framework of the Centre of Excellence for Improvement of Safety of Products (TEST-PRO-SAFETY) Centre of Excellence, which had been approved of by the Ministry of Science and Information Technology by the resolution of the Committee for Scientific Research of September 16, 2004.The aim of the task was to strengthen the content-related competence and the position of the Centre of Excellence on the domestic and international forums. The following actions were carried out: - 2 international conferences, international workshops and a seminar were organized;- a meeting of the Centre Advisory Board was organized;- consultation visits in leading EU research centres took place;- 3 reports on the realization of the TEST-PRO-SAFETY-LIFE project were developed for the European Commission;- a meeting of European experts in methods of testing electromagnetic fields was organized; - a series of international comparative tests of respiratory protective equipment was organized and coordinated;- international cooperation within the framework of a European network of experts in occupational safety and health EUROSHINET was carried out."
