Active cooling system for use under protective clothes in a hot working environment.

Project summary:
General goal of the project was to reduce heat from employees protective clothing, while working in a hot working environment through the usage in a hot microclimate of protective clothing, that was designed and developed within the project`s goal of individual cooling system, which excess heat from the body of a person working in protective clothing. A numerical model was developed of heat exchange between a man performing work in a hot working environment and under no cooling conditions system and in a one of liquid cooling system. The results of the simulations allowed to develop a model of individual active cooling system with parameters adapted to the expected conditions of use. Within the project realization, information materials designed for employers employing workers on hot workplaces were prepared.
