1^st PEROSH Research Exchange on “Translational Research in Occupational Health and Safety”

CIOP-PIB,  Warsaw 21^st/22^nd October 2015.

The seminar aims to connect senior and junior researchers across PEROSH institutes via a mix of networking activities, key-notes and topic-related working group sessions. PEROSH is a networkthat comprises 12 Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) institutes (including CIOP-PIB), all playing key roles in their national affiliations to governments/ authorities, health and accident insurance systems.

For a lively interaction via brief presentations of best practice examples from the PEROSH institutes the following topics for parallel working group sessions have been selected:

• Ageing at work – examples of translational OSH research in context of demographic change,
• Prevention through Design approaches and applications in light of industry 4.0 (incl. AMI, VR-simulations, Smart Factory),
• E-tools for working environments as means of translating research into usable e-solutions.

The 1st PEROSH research exchange will be combined with the opening of CIOP-PIB new research laboratories in the “Tech Safe Bio” building. The event will be attended by ca. 80 participants.
