CALIBRATION

ACTIVITY OF CALIBRATION LABORATORIES IN CIOP-PIB WITHIN ACCREDITATION SCOPE

Calibration Laboratories in the Institute have been accredited since 28^th January 2004. The scope of accreditation includes calibrating the following measuring devices:

The scope of accreditation includes calibration of measurement and testing equipment used for assessing the parameters of working environment in the following areas:

electromagnetic and magnetic quantities,
flows.

Within the scope of accreditation we calibrate:

electromagnetic field meters, used to assess human and environmental exposure,
aspirators, used for sampling air to determine the content of harmful substances contained in it (calibration of the measuring device indicating the volume flow of pumped air),
flow meters and equipment measuring energy expenditure,
thermo-anemometers and anemometric probes for microclimate meters.

The activity of the Calibration Laboratories at CIOP-PIB is compliant with the requirements of Standard PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.

The non-accredited part, for which the Calibration Laboratories Group declares compliance with the requirements of PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025, includes the determination of errors in ventilation and energy expenditure indications of energy expenditure meters.
