Development and maintenance of the competence of the accredited body in the scope of certification of products related to safety and ergonomics

"The aim of the task was to maintain the competence of CIOP-PIB's Centre for Certification of Products and Management Systems for conducting voluntary certification of products and to improve the quality management system in this field.This task consisted in updating the Centre's documentation of the quality system related to the documents of the Polish Centre for Accreditation: DA-01 ""A description of the system of accreditation"", 5th edition of December 8, 2005, and DA-02 ""The principles of using the Polish Centre for Accreditation's accreditation sign"", 7th edition of March 15, 2006, and the order of the Director of CIOP-PIB No. 22/2007 of September 11, 2007, on introducing changes in the ""Organizational regulations of CIOP-PIB"".Moreover, the scope of accreditation No. AC 018 determined by the Polish Centre for Accreditation in 2005 was updated regarding the relevance of the standards used as reference documents in conducting processes of certification of products was updated.The quality system of the Centre as a body conducting voluntary certification of products was assessed through annual internal audits and periodic reviews. It was also controlled and assessed during external audits carried out by the Polish Centre for Accreditation.As a result of the activities carried out within the framework of the task, the Polish Centre for Accreditation's accreditation was maintained in the current scope in relation to certification of products. The scope of accreditation No. AC 018 updated on the day of the audit (June 19, 2007) regarding the relevance of the standards used in the certification of products was confirmed by the Polish Centre for Accreditation."
