Experimental tests and an assessment of the influence of the vibrations of the elements of layer noise protections on their sound insulation properties

Streszczenie projektu:
"This research task consisted in an analysis of the structure of layer noise protections (layer walls of cabins, enclosures and acoustic screens); dynamic tests of the structure of the elements of layer noise protections; tests of acoustic insulation of construction elements (walls) of layer noise protections, taking into consideration low frequencies of under 100 Hz; an assessment of the influence of structural vibrations of the elements of layer noise protections on a decrease their acoustic insulation; the development of guidelines for designers of noise protections in the field of correct design and selection of layer noise protections.A guidebook for constructors and designers was developed. It covers a correct selection of the elements of layer noise protections from the point of view of their efficiency, mainly in low frequencies.A database called ""A catalogue of protections against infrasound and low-frequency noise"" was developed."
