Streszczenie projektu:

"The task consisted in developing recommendations and guidelines regarding a programme of preventing major industrial accidents and a safety management system, which would ensure correct planning, execution and improvement of a programme of preventing major industrial accidents within integrated safety management systems in ""upper tier"" and ""lower tier"" establishments.The recommendations that have been developed include, among others, a discussion of the regulations in the Seveso II directive and of Polish regulations, especially those that apply to a programme of preventing major industrial accidents and integrated safety management systems; a comparison of EU requirements and of the requirements in Polish regulations on a programme of preventing major industrial accidents and integrated safety management systems; conclusions and recommendations on the content of programmes of preventing major industrial accidents and integrated safety management systems in ""upper tier"" and ""lower tier"" establishments, which result from an analysis of those regulations; framework guidelines on the content of a programme of preventing major industrial accidents and integrated safety management systems in both categories of establishments, i.e. ""upper tier"" and ""lower tier"" establishments; a sample, model programme of preventing major industrial accidents with necessary tools that are elements of an integrated safety management system in ""upper tier"" and ""lower tier"" establishments, developed for Zakłady Azotowe SA in Tarnów-Mościce and for a branch of Linde Gaz Polska, sp. z o.o. in Tarnów."
