Development of a characteristic of the utility properties of the so-called intelligent lighting control systems regarding provision of occupational safety and visual comfort

Streszczenie projektu:
"Three intelligent lighting control systems were tested: MULti DIM (a digital system with a sensor of light reflected from the work surface), EMOtiON (a digital system with a sensor of incoming light) and DIM MULti2 (an analog system with a sensor of light reflected from the work surface).The results of the tests of utility properties related to the light sensor showed that the digital EMOtiON system was the best out of the tested systems. The analog DIM MULti2 had the poorest utility properties.Tests of the utility properties related to the movement sensor revealed that MULti DIM system was the best; it had the greatest number of options of setting the sensor if software was used. The analog DIM MULti2 had the poorest utility properties.The procedure developed within the framework of this task and the method of testing the correctness of the operation of intelligent lighting control systems consider the kind of the control system that is tested. The developed method of testing concerns basic utility properties such as maintaining the programmed level of illumination, the reaction of the system to dynamic changes in daylight, the influence of the colour of the work surface on the operation of the system and testing the time of automatic switching on/off of lighting. ""A guide to the utility properties of lighting control systems"" was also developed."
