Assessment of radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation risk (RF-EMF) in selected employees groups using expozimetric measurements.

Streszczenie projektu:
Within the project tested and evaluated were meteorological and utility parameters of selected and selective broadband personal expozimeters RF-EMF in the context of their use in studies of occupational hazards of publicly available electromagnetic environment. These included designation of frequency response and sensitivity to signal from outside of the defined in the documentation expozimetric frequency band. Laboratory and field studies were carried out, concerning the measurement result on the location of the meter on the body of a person whose exposure is assessed, as well as an assessment of expozimeters use under realistic conditions of worker while being exposed. Results near the sources of RF-EMF showed that field strength measured with expozimeters placed on the body of a person, whose exposure is assessed, deviates from the classical measure of exposure (ie. initial field strength occurring at the employee`s workstation without his presence in the area of measurement) in the range of +- 250% - depending on expozimeter location to RF-EM F sources. For more accurate determination of measurement result depending on location of the experiment near human body - under various RF-EMF parameters, numerical stimulations were carried out. Developed method of experimental research and evaluation of individual exposure of workers to RF-EMF were used during the field researches, which included selected groups of employees and places of exposure to complex RF-EMF.
