Streszczenie projektu:
"The National CIS-ILO Centre disseminated abroad information on Polish publications and achievements in the field of occupational safety, by, e.g., taking part in the development of international sources of information in the field of occupational safety and health, including the international databases CISDOC and CISDOC-TEXT, and Virtual Bulletin, an electronic publication.Documentation analyses of Polish publications were made and passed on to the International CIS Centre together with the original publications. The number of Polish institutions that co-operate with the Centre and make their publications available free of charge so that they can by analysed has increased. The Centre has made information on foreign publications and achievements in OSH available to Polish specialists. The range of topics on which information is sent out has been extended. The National Centre's website, which has been extended in Polish and in English, has been important in making information available. A new English-language bibliographic database on Polish publications on OSH, OSH-BHP, has been worked on. The database has been analysed and directions on its further development have been set. Currently it is available on the Polish and English website of the National CIS Centre and the Library as part of CIOP-PIB's; it is this Centre's new product.Contacts and co-operation with the International CIS Centre have been broadened. They have also grown with the network of CIS Centres and with institutions that are connected with that network in connection with, e.g., working on the thesaurus, creating international sources of information, obtaining and exchanging information and publications."
