Conducting and developing the activity of the National Focal Point of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work

CIOP-PIB has been the National Focal Point of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work since 2000.The Agency's task is to gather, analyse and disseminate information on occupational safety and health and to develop information resources in those fields. The Agency's mission includes activities aimed at safety and more efficient workplaces, and especially promoting safety culture and preventing hazards. The following task were included in the task: - coordinating the work of the National Partnership (NP) and organizing meetings of NP, - organizing the Polish edition of the "Healthy Workplaces. Good for you. Good for business" information campaign on occupational risk assessment (2008), - organizing the Polish edition of the "Healthy Workplaces. Good for you. Good for business" information campaign on safe maintenance (its first part took place in 2010), - day-to-day cooperation with the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work. It involved, e.g., organizing a seminar on the European results of the ESENER enterprise survey, developing the principles and programme of the seminar for the Polish EEN network, verifying the language and terminology in the Agency's documents.
