Maintaining and broadening the information activity of the National Occupational Safety and Health Information Centre (CIS) for users at home and abroad as part of the cooperation with ILO

The task consisted in taking part in creating international information sources on OSH, which made it possible, e.g., to disseminate abroad information of Polish literature and achievements in the field of occupational safety. In order to do this, there was cooperaton with the International Labour Organization - International CIS Centre (ILO-CIS) and the international network of CIS Centres in various countries in creating e.g. international databases CISDOC and CISDOC-TEXT, LEGOSH, "Virtual Bulletin" - an electronic publication, and other sources of information. About 520 documentation analyses of Polish books, reports, articles from journals, legal regulations were developed and passed on with the original documents to the CIS Centre in Geneva. Cooperation was continued with a group of domestic institutions in identifying and obtaining free publications. The content of Polish- and English-language websites of the National Occupational Safety and Health Information Centre (CIS) was updated and expanded by publishing information on domestic and foreign events in the field of occupational safety.
