Development and verification of the database of chemical safety data sheets in accordance with the EU requirements

The aim of the task was to broaden the database of chemical safety data sheets, which contains 495 data sheets developed in 1999-2004 and was in an electronic version on a CD, by a further 150 sheets. Those data sheets contain, e.g., data on health and environment hazards, hazards resulting from the physical and chemicals properties of a substance, information on first aid, ways of handling and storing the substance, procedures in case of a fire and in case of an inadvertent release into the environment.During the task, at the same time as new data sheets were added to the database, the database was regularly verified and updated. It now contains 645 chemical safety data sheets. Like its previous versions, it has been published on a CD.
