Ensuring a flow of information on key topic areas of the activity of the European Agency of Safety and Health at Work

The task consisted in disseminating the results of topic centres and other information projects of the Agency, an exchange of information and day-to-day co-operation.Within the so-called third-generation centres, there are two topic centres: Topic Centre - Risk Observatory and Topic Centre - Work Environment.The development of co-operation with the Agency included, e.g., an extension of the range of tasks carried out by the National Focal Point, primarily related to the work of topic centres.The activity directed at dissemination of the results of the tasks of the centres included a revision and selection of the Agency's documents and making them accessible in Polish at the National Focal Point's website. Those tasks comprised a total of 30 documents selected on the basis of an assessment of the needs of a user of information. To extend the information resources on the Internet translating and editing was done.The dissemination of information included passing on information about the topic centres and the results of their work at meetings and in contact with users of information.The task included an exchange of information and co-operation with the Agency and with topic centres, carried out during Consultations. The Consultations, carried out in 2005-2007 by the Polish National Focal Point, included a review of and passing on information on such documents as, e.g., reports from the work of topic centres, bulletins disseminating information, information materials to be disseminated through the Agency's website.
